Easter Brunch and a General Board Mother...

Wow Easter has come and gone but it sure was a good one! Our Easter started off with a lovely trip to City Creek the day before to find me some fun tights! We did find me some tights with circles on them (I don't know if you can tell by the pics) but I love them and some how Trevor ended up with a whole new Easter outfit too! Yes, his pants are bright orange and I must say he looked quite handsome!  Easter day we headed to the Grand America for a lovely Easter Brunch provided by Grandma Wortley and I must say it was quite delicious and I felt very fancy!  Thanks Grandma Wortley!

My beautiful mother was also speaking in her ward that day and we were sad because we didn't think there was going to be anyway that we would be able to make it.  Fortunately, I prayed really hard Saturday night that somehow we would be able to go hear her talk and that it would all work out!  While at the brunch when things were finishing I checked the time and realized that we could actually make it!  I was so happy that we arrived to my parent's ward in perfect timing so that we could hear my amazing mother share her wonderful talent of speaking.  Listening to her speak is like listening to conference, it is filled with the spirit and it is perfect.  I felt so blessed that day for having my prayer answered and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing things to work out.

Most of these pics were taken with Trev's phone so not the greatest quality but hopefully you can still enjoy our Easter attire...
There was so much food and a few really neat ice sculptures (the thing that says Happy Easter is ice)...
Also at the brunch was a jazz band playing the newest hits...
Ricky Bobby wanted to hurry and slide in a pic with us and I am so glad...he is a wonderful Father in law

We had to try all of the desserts so this one was called Peanut Butter Crunch...it looked better than it tasted
Both of these desserts were not that great either but I loved how fancy they looked...
This pic actually has nothing to do with Easter but I still wanted to share it.. this is when we went to the Blaze game with some of our friends..as you can tell the place was packed :/
